Volunteering at Youth Progress Association

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Youth Progress Association. We truly value and welcome the contributions of our committed volunteers, interns, and mentors. YPA has a variety of settings and activities in which volunteers can get involved, and we are always exploring new avenues of participation. Below you will find a brief overview of the types of volunteer roles we have available at YPA.

Overview of opportunities with YPA:

• Volunteering: Youth Progress Association offers a variety of settings to fit volunteer interests and needs; from helping with client-based activities and life-skills to assisting with administrative duties in our office. We can also accommodate individuals or groups depending on area of interest.
  
  
• Internships: Youth Progress Association has opportunities for student interns in several of our program settings. Depending on the student’s area of study, potential internships are available in education, direct human service, and non-profit administration/development.
  
  
• Mentoring: We are currently seeking candidates who would be interested in becoming mentors to youth in our program. Mentoring is a proven way to positively affect the lives of at-risk youth and is often a very rewarding experience for both mentors and mentees.
