YPA Scholarship Fund

• Available to any YPA alumni, regardless of how you left the program

Guidelines:

The scholarship fund is currently available to all current and past Youth Progress Association clients wishing to pursue additional educational opportunities.  These opportunities include but are not limited to, College Courses, Technical Training, Apprenticeships, etc.

The YPA Scholarship is available each quarter.  This award is based primarily on your need and the number of other people applying. However, the maximum amount that will be distributed in any quarter is $500.00.

Applications are accepted for scholarships throughout the year.  However, applications must be received by the time the scholarship committee meets.  To find out when the committee meets, ask the Extended Family Coordinator, Jon Dahl.

The maximum amount a client can receive in any calendar year is $599.00. 

Awards are decided by a majority vote of the scholarship committee.

Things you will need:

1) Scholarship application (the more information you give us, the more likely you are to get a scholarship)

2) Proof of school attendance (this can be a copy of a current bill or access to your school account so we can make sure you are signed up for classes)
